Ultra-relativistic heavy-ion collisions provide unique opportunities to investigate nuclear matter under extreme conditions. Jets serve as useful probes of the hot, dense medium, known as the Quark Gluon Plasma (QGP), created in these collisions. Angular correlation, relative to a trigger particle with large transverse momentum (pT), have been extensively used as a tool to study properties of the QGP. Particle type dependence in these two-particle angular correlations can provide additional insights into the properties of nuclear matter under extreme conditions, such as the hadronization mechanisms at intermediate pT, where hydrodynamics alone cannot describe the hadron distributions. Di-hadron angular correlations using identified strange mesons (K0s) and baryons (and anti-) are studied at the intermediate pT in Au+Au collisions at center of mass energy per nucleon of 200 GeV. The study was carried out over a wide range of collision centralities adding on to previous measurements. The results show particle type dependence of associated particle yields and collective flow.
