The drawing was created to explore new geometric relationships based on linework which converges and “bifurcates.” The lines converge at the center of the page, then bifurcate outward at the edges, to create areas of contraction and expansion. Color was then used to shade the form to indicate three dimensionality. Following this drawing, physical models were made of the perceived three dimensions, and later the ideas behind the drawing were used as inspiration for a studio building design.
