I am capturing digital slit scan photographic images using a modified flatbed scanner and an old copy camera. The image is a assemblage of images acquired from a single photo shoot. The larger image on the right is an image of the participant standing still, while the 6 tall images to the left are of the participant hula hooping. The slit scan photographic technique records the movement. This image is a part of a series of images capturing the gestures of artists and performers.
