The image is a photograph of a model that represents an architectural studio project. This particular photograph is focused on the use of the circle as a way to organize the architectural plan. The circles are used as solids, voids, or as "nodes" that peak through the top surface. The project is an urban landscape located in Chicago that incorporates a hospital, a hotel, a spa, and a recreation facility. This park is located along the lake near the Bronzeville neighborhood. The topography is a way to connect the community to this new urban environment as well as the lakefront. The model is made from laser-cut acrylic and painted mat board.
