A Closer Look at Novel U.S. Employment Policies at the County and Municipal Level

This brief investigates a broad definition of employment policies at the county and municipal level. It finds that while some local jurisdictions have adopted increased minimum wage, paid leave, and secure scheduling policies, there is more work to do to understand the implications for social determinants of health.
