The special structure containing three consecutive unsaturated carbons allows allene to participate in various cycloaddition reactions with multiple reacting counterparts, furnishing diverse products including multicyclic carbon framework. Part II describes the applications of cycloaddition reactions of allene in total synthesis of natural product selaginpulvilin A.
