Advances in pharmacogenomics has presently shown that SNPs are associated with drug toxicity and resistance. It has also been shown that SNPs are defined in drug repositioning. However when it comes to drug-drug interactions, it has not been show with respect to pharmacodynamic interactions, to our knowledge. Utilizing computational tools in translational bioinformatics, and key principles in drug repositioning, we develop a proof of concept in order to determine pharmacodynamic drug interactions.
