Do Analogies Increase Learning by Lowering the Dependence on Spatial Ability?

The goal of this study was to understand the influence analogies and diagrams had on the relationship between spatial visualization skills and learning from a science text. Main results indicated that analogies lowered the relationship between spatial visualization skills and learning. There was no such effect for diagrams.
