Ion Transport in Nano-Engineered Ion Exchange Membranes and Their Applications for Redox Flow Batteries

Work presented in this dissertation focused on developing nano-engineered membranes to overcome the trade-off limitation between ion selectivity and permeability, as well as establishing a fundamental understanding on the correlation between membrane structure and its ion transport/electrochemical performance.
