Stasis

thesis
posted on 2024-05-01, 00:00 authored by Deziree A Brown
Stasis is a collection of poetry that considers the hypervulnerability of Black queer and trans folk. The manuscript is inspired by interdisciplinary research, considering the tension between Afropessimism and intersectionality theory. Split into three sections of poems, Stasis uses various elements of popular culture to present an archive of pain and joy in Black queer and trans American life.
