The purpose of this study was to explore how World Citizen School attend to the racial socialization of their predominantly Black student body and the extent to which procultural racial socialization as described by Winkler (2012) can be found at WCS through it practices. Findings indicate that schools, teachers and parents all contribute to students’ racial understanding in different ways, and they each inform how the students make meaning of their experiences as Black youth.
